Job Summary:

Come join our enthusiastic, results oriented team in our convenience and fuel stores. The Sales Associate is responsible for performing all cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and customer service duties in a manner that will develop good customer relations, build store sales, and protect store assets. The goal is to provide all of our customers with a service level that exceeds their expectations. The Sales Associate supports the company goals by focusing on personal accountability, customer service and adhering to company policies.

Specific Responsibilities-

Customer Satisfaction:

• Friendly, outgoing attitude with customers.
• Projects a respectful, professional manner at all times.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store as directed by management in their assigned duties.
• Complies with company policies, federal and state laws regarding age-restricted sales of products such as tobacco.
• Follows Safe Food Handling Procedures in accordance with company, Board of Health and industry standards.
• Adheres to all company policy and procedures.

Store Operations:

• Maintain store cleanliness standards.
• Replenishes stock at a level to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Completes duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains safe conditions and follows procedures in times of inclement weather, damage to the property or unforeseen emergencies.
• Reports to management any equipment or facility condition that is in need of repair or creates a hazard.

Required Skills:

• Experience in retail sales preferred

• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English

Job Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach and lift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
