- Junior or later student who is working toward a bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication or Business Communication with technical/technology experience or working toward a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with English/Communication experience. Experience with a technical writing and/or communication, robotics team or other hands-on engineering is a plus.
- Self-starter with a good work ethic and interested in learning and growing with the company.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document technical or operational processes
- Learn from an experienced mentor to understand the engineering design process, with an emphasis on turning complex technical concepts into clear, easy‑to‑use, and searchable documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand how design decisions are made and how those decisions affect other requirements and systems.
- Organize, update, and help build a searchable Zendesk knowledge base using existing documentation and resources.
- Interview subject matter experts, engineers, and product designers to gather accurate technical details and gain a clear understanding of how products work.
- Use visuals such as diagrams, charts, screenshots, and videos to help users better understand technical information.
- Write, edit, and maintain clear, accurate, and well‑organized technical documentation.
