We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Flower Shop Manager to lead our floral retail operation. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including sales, stocking, and merchandising to create an inviting shopping experience
- Oversee floral design and gardening projects, ensuring high-quality arrangements that meet customer expectations
- Manage inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies through effective stock control and ordering
- Lead and train staff on floral design techniques, POS systems, cash handling, and customer service standards
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase retail sales and e-commerce orders
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained throughout the store
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and provide expert floral advice
- Coordinate landscape maintenance or lawn care services as needed for the shop’s outdoor areas
- Utilize multilingual skills to assist diverse customer base effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in floral design, horticulture, or gardening with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape maintenance
- Prior retail management experience preferred; familiarity with POS systems, retail math, merchandising, and cash handling is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
