About the Role:
Yardi is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of a dedicated team or business unit. In this role, you'll perform daily and monthly reconciliations, manage transaction reporting, assist with invoice and credit memo processing, and help ensure a smooth month-end close. You'll also collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and support compliance reviews and audits. What You'll Do:
- Reconcile accounts and verify transaction accuracy to ensure financial data integrity
- Prepare and manage financial reports for internal stakeholders and audit purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance
- Contribute to monthly close activities and reporting
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two plus (2 ) years of experience in accounting or finance support role
- Understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- Strong communication and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment
Ideal to Have:
- Experience supporting audits or compliance processes a plus
