A warehouse associate is responsible for safely filling orders, replenishing inventory, loading/unloading trucks and moving material in the warehouse.***Job Responsibilities**.*-
  
  

Safety First!-

Move material throughout warehouse by safely operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts and overhead cranes).-

Retrieve material from inventory according to work instructions.-

Verify accuracy of material retrieved by measuring and comparing product information on tag to work order.-

Construct skids and use shipping supplies to properly wrap and prepare product for delivery using tape measures, banding equipment, and nail guns.-

Tag material, verify product against work order, and perform last piece visual inspection.-

Safely load and unload material from trucks using cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.-

Inspect inbound material using measuring tape measures and calipers.-

Prepare orders for shipment via common carriers, UPS, and customer pick-up.-

Expedite orders and process received and shipped material in system.-

Perform additional duties as instructed by manager.***Requirements*****\*\*\*This is a** *SAFETY SENSITIVE* **position: requires operating heavy machinery\*\*\***-

High School graduate or equivalent strongly preferred.-

Warehouse Material Handling And Forklift Experience Strongly Preferred.-

Must be able to read, understand, and carry out work instructions in English.-

Must be able to use and read a tape measure.-

Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment.-

Must be able to meet physical requirements of position (e.g., continuous standing and lifting 70 pounds).***Benefits***-
