JOIN THE YARDE TEAM!
We are looking for a 1st shift (you'll be home daily!) Class B CDL to join our Hauppauge, NY Operations Team. A Class B Truck Driver safely operates a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- SAFETY FIRST! Safely operating the truck.
- Load and unload material from trucks.
- Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
- Verify piece count and condition of materials.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs.
- Comply with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 1-6 months experience strongly preferred, valid Class B license, and clean driving record.
- Automatic transmission.
