You will craft expertly mixed drinks, share your knowledge of our award-winning bourbon selections, and provide warm Southern hospitality to every guest. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide food and beverage service to all guests at the barComplete understanding of all food and beverage itemsCheck identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age.Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.Take orders from serving staff or directly from customersPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipesPeel, slice and pit fruit safely for garnishing drinksTAM and ACT Certified and guidelines followed to ensure no guests are overservedProcess transactions using the POS system, prepare checks for customers, and process customer paymentsArrange glasses and bottles into attractive and functional displays and manages the aesthetic of the bar topEnsure clean glasses, bar equipment and working areasComply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policiesMonitor inventory, and restock bar inventoryHigh level knowledge of standard drink recipesHigh level knowledge of spirits, wine and beerUnderstanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishesAble to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidaysAble to work in a standing position for long periodsRequirements:Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar is required.Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, classic cocktails, and beverage trends.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detailCertification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is preferred.EOE We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.
