Robot Technician

Job description

Yard is Huntsville based startup developing, building, and operating a fleet of autonomous electric robots to enhance the quality of life in suburban communities, beginning with lawn care. We are looking for a Robot Technician to join the team on the cutting edge of field robotics.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks including mechanical and electrical assembly
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic equipment
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift moderate weights (50 lb) comfortably
• Ability to work in an organised manner with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Low-voltage electrical experience, especially with electric motors/batteries
• Soldering, crimping, wire harness assembly is highly desired
• Machining or welding experience is a bonus

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Weekend work rewarded, but not necessary
• Over time rewarded, but not necessary

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30-40 per week
