Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and weed control
- Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance
- Assist with the planting of flowers, trees, and other plants
- Clean and maintain outdoor spaces, including removing debris and litter
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
- Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques
- Ability to operate landscape equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Must be able to operate a truck while towing a trailer. Both driving forwards and backwards.
Note: Forklift, box truck, delivery driver, tractor-trailer, militarise, freight, paratransit, warehouse, communicate, yard jockey are not relevant to the Landscape Technician position.
