What You'll Do
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
- Develop replacement engine specifications for customer applications.
- Review quote requests and prepare customer quotations.
- Track core charge returns and emissions compliance.
- Maintain product information, Bills of Material (BOMs), and inventory records using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Configure engine ECU files prior to shipment.
- Assist with inventory control, receiving, stocking, crating, and production support as needed.
- Monitor shop supplies and equipment to keep operations running efficiently.
- Five or more years of engine repair, assembly, or diagnostic experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and parts information.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using ERP systems such as AS400 or similar.
- Experience working with PDM systems or product documentation.
- Experience using engine diagnostic tools.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work in both office and shop environments.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy engine components with assistance.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
