Position Overview:
Yankee Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Window Measure Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is critical to our process, ensuring post-sale window and door measurements are accurate for seamless order fulfillment and installation. If you have strong measurement skills and experience in the window/door industry—but are looking for fewer hours—we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise post-sale measurements of residential window and door openings
- Accurately document all required installation details for product ordering
- Communicate technical information clearly to internal teams
- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure timelines are met
- Travel to customer homes within a 2-hour radius of Albany, NY
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in client homes
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in window and door measurement or installation
- Strong understanding of residential window/door construction and dimensions
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift light equipment, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
