What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greenhouse Grower position at Yankee Hill Landscape Co., Inc.?
Yankee Hill Landscape is seeking someone to help us grow and maintain all of our plants.
This position will focus on care of our trees, shrubs and perennials. As a greenhouse grower, you will water plants, monitor for diseases and pests and address any potential issues, trim plants, sell plants, answer customer questions about plant materials and assist with ordering.
This position also requires one to assist with the growing and care of annual plants from seed and plug and a willingness to help out in other areas of the company as needed.
PROFESSIONAL GROWING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED & MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME.
KNOWLEDGE OF TREES, SHRUBS & PERENNIALS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. Plant identification test will be given to all applicants.
Pay will be based on actual previous experience.
This is a year round position.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
You must have reliable transportation to work each day.
Some Saturdays are required during the busy landscape season.
