Pricing Coordinator

Pricing Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing pricing strategy and market analysis to achieve key performance indicators. This role collaborates closely with local Sales teams to drive business development, partners with operations and logistics teams to optimize equipment utilization (match-back) and contributes to continuous improvement of internal Trade processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Description:

• Analyze volume performance across service loops and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct proactive market research and analysis to identify new customer segments, commodities, and growth opportunities.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze departmental reports and statistical data.
• Respond to daily rate inquiries and Requests for Quotations (RFQs)/bids.
• Perform margin and contribution analysis and recommend pricing adjustments as needed
• Handle service contract administrative functions, including rate and terms negotiation, contract review, and approval processes.
• Review customer disputes and provide recommendations for resolution to management.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to support Trade team’s requirements.
• Participate in and support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in ocean carrier, logistics, or trade/pricing-related roles preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, data analysis).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
