What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior CMM Programmer & Operator position at Yanfeng Automotive?
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional layouts and testing in support of production and launch activities
- Generate and distribute layout and test reports upon completion
- Maintain accurate and organized layout and inspection records
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving for dimensional issues
- Conduct gage studies and manage gage tracking software
- Ensure all lab equipment and gages remain calibrated and certified per plant and customer requirements
- Support or perform Lab Supervisor duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a clean, organized lab environment in accordance with 5S principles
- Ensure proper handling and storage of gages received from other facilities
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to increase layout efficiency
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years CMM Programming
- Relevant work experience in metrology, quality, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with gage management systems and calibration processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
