What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Substitute Teacher position at Yancey County Schools?
Qualifications:
Individuals must have obtained a high school diploma/GED. If not a licensed teacher, please complete the online course: Substitute 101 at www.wresa.org. You will need to upload your Substitute 101 certificate, Effective Teacher Training certificate or a teaching license to apply. Potential substitutes MUST contact a YCS school principal/administrator to obtain a recommendation for employment.
Rate of Pay:
Individuals who hold teaching license will recieve $130 per day. All other individuals will be paid $120 per day.
