The Certified Nurses Assistant/Personal Care Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to post-acute patients, adults with disabilities, and older adults. Reporting to a registered nurse, this role helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence through personal care, daily living assistance, and attentive companionship.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and hygiene support.
- Assist clients with mobility and safe patient transfers.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Support meals and provide medication reminders.
- Assist with toileting and activities of daily living.
- Provide household support and patient companionship.
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia care needs.
- Complete accurate care documentation.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in nursing assistance and personal care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of patient care, activities of daily living, vital signs monitoring, and safe patient transfers.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Ability to complete care documentation accurately.
- Empathy, communication, and time-management skills.
Salary : $18 - $22
