Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across various residential spaces.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for clients.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain floor care by performing tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and tile scrubbing.
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper technique.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, outdoor work experience preferred for properties with gardens or patios.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment, and proper sanitation practices.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina.
- Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Prior experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for specific duties such as carpet cleaning or specialized floor care.
