Yampah Spa & Vapor Caves in Glenwood Springs is one of Colorado's most iconic wellness destinations. We have natural geothermal vapor caves, healing treatments, and guests who come looking for real restoration. We're hiring a full-time spa front desk host, our Guest Experience Host, to be the operational anchor of that experience.
This is not a typical front desk job. You own the first moment: the greeting, the check-in, the phones, the booking system, and every transaction. You are the first face every guest sees and the last voice they hear when they leave. That is not a small thing. That is everything.
PAY & BENEFITS
- $22/hour after training (2–4 weeks paid at minimum wage)
- Average $26 /hour total with pooled tips and product commission
- Team-based retail commission tied to shared sales goals
- Paid sick leave: earn 1 hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours a year (about five full shifts)

SCHEDULE
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (35–40 hours), with three days off every week
- Opening shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (some days 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
- Closing shift: 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM
- Occasional short evening shifts: 4:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Weekend and holiday availability required
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Greet every guest with warmth and full presence
- Run check-in start to finish: appointments, waivers, booking system, orientation
- Answer all incoming calls and manage the appointment book
- Process every transaction: services, retail, packages, gift cards, tips, and discounts
- Recommend spa services and retail products authentically
- Complete the hourly checklist with your team
- Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Communicate continuously with your team to keep the guest experience flowing
WHO YOU ARE
- Customer service experience required. Spa, hotel front desk, hospitality, or retail is a strong plus.
- Calm, precise, and grounded under pressure
- Comfortable with booking software, POS systems, and cash handling
- A natural multi-tasker who communicates clearly and warmly
- A team player who shows up consistently and wants a full-time role
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays | Spanish is a plus
