What You’ll Do
- Source and secure materials, products, and supplies critical to our operations
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to drive cost savings and strong supplier partnerships
- Monitor inventory and collaborate with production to keep things running efficiently
- Coordinate logistics, including trucking and imports, to ensure timely deliveries
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Resolve supplier issues, manage quality concerns, and ensure invoice accuracy
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
- Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and supplier management
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools
- Experience in food manufacturing or distribution is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3–5 years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience
- Background in logistics or import processes is a plus
- Comfortable working both at a desk and in warehouse/plant environments
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and move throughout facilities as required
