Controls Project Lead (Player-Coach Role)

We’re hiring a Controls Project Leader—someone who knows how to guide a project and still get their hands dirty. This “player-coach” role is perfect for an experienced controls pro who’s ready for more visibility, impact, and leadership.
You’ll own full project cycles and lead a cross-functional engineering team (mechanical, electrical, and controls) to deliver complex, custom automation solutions.
What You’ll Lead
- Project planning, scheduling, and execution from concept to commissioning
- Controls system design (PLC, HMI, SCADA, safety, integration)
- Team guidance, workload prioritization, and client collaboration
- Quality, compliance, and technical documentation

What You’ll Need
- 10 years in controls/automation, with project leadership experience
- Deep expertise with PLCs, HMIs, safety systems, and industrial networks
- Strong communication, coordination, and coaching skills
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field
