Purpose Of The Role
The Project Manager, Technical Services is responsible for managing the end to end project management for all assigned projects from start to completion, including setting up projects in Yamamotoyama’s designated workflow tool and ensuring each cross-functional partner is completing their tasks on time.
Responsibilities
Follow Company defined project governance for project management.
Management of projects of many different types; innovation, marketing initiatives, cost savings, production facility improvements, software improvements, etc.
Planning
Define project objectives and scope.
Identify key stakeholders.
Develop project charters.
Develop comprehensive project management plans.
Define project scope, schedule, and budget.
Create quality, communication, risk, and resource plans.
Develop a risk management plan.
Obtain necessary project approvals.
Executing:
Collaborate with the project leader to manage project execution.
Distribute project information to stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations.
Implement planned project processes.
Monitoring and Controlling:
Measure project performance and progress.
Verify and manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs.
Monitor and control project risks.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Oversee procurement, if applicable.
Closing:
Obtain formal acceptance of project deliverables.
Close out contracts, if applicable.
Conduct post-project reviews.
Document lessons learned.
Archive project records and information.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Over 7 years working experience in project management, CPG products, marketing, or production environment.
Mastery of project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and in budget. PMP certified.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the Food and Beverage industry, preferred.
Prior experience in developing and protecting intellectual property, preferred.
Physical Requirements
For the role of Project Manager, Technical Services, some physical demands may include:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as the role may involve monitoring production lines, conducting inspections, and providing direction to production staff.
Capability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads, such as product ingredients or equipment, and move them within the production area.
Willingness and ability to bend, stoop, and reach low and high areas for equipment adjustments, inspections, and maintenance.
Skill in using hand tools and equipment for adjustments, maintenance, and quality control processes.
Stamina to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including the ability to work on your feet for an entire shift and lift/move heavy objects as required.
Tolerance for working in varying temperature conditions that may be present in the plant.
Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and other gear as necessary for safety and hygiene in a production setting.

The annual pay range for this full-time position i s $90,000 - $105,000 . Our pay ranges are guided by the discipline, level, and experience required. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including your specific location, desired skills/ technical competency, relevant experience, and advanced education/ training.
