We are looking to hire a Product Manager to help with the product development process for new model boats and refinements. Must have strong inter-personal skills, mechanical and boat operation knowledge, and knowledge of the fishing industry. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Overall management of the compilation and communication of various model development related information such as industry product information, market statistical data and any other information as it relates to the new model and existing model refinement projects.
• Internal Mackenzie – Atlas liaison for interdepartmental communication and RSM’s.
• Use data to determine sales trends, dealer performance, and territory performance.
• Will be responsible for the preparation, completion, and maintenance of product scopes with information provided thru the various sources---internal and external of Skeeter.
• Work with management, sales, marketing, and operations staffs with the communication of product data information.
• Help price options for accounting and determine package pricing.
• Schedule and coordinate product related meetings. Document and maintain product meeting minutes and information.  Such information for meetings will include decision timelines, product input review responsibilities by various departments and responsible party for specific tasks.
• Visit and communicate with dealers, anglers, and other business partners to gather product needs. Create related lists for the Product Management team to review.
• PCR – Product Change Requests – filter internal and external and organize for review.
• Provide regular informational and progress updates to management of Skeeter.
• Weekly Product meeting updates.
• Other duties will include certain other marketing related tasks on an exceptional basis.
• Responsible for the preparation, completion, and maintenance of internal specifications for all models
• Work with color committee making decisions to develop colors for all models.
• Compile presentations for numerous meetings throughout the year – Quarterly GM mtgs, Sales Mtg, Dealer Mtgs, and Demo Team Mtgs.
• Compile and organize all product changes model year to next and have in a presentable format for internal use and for dealer training.
• Participate in new product testing and photoshoots.
• Understand CSI data and impact from product related feedback.
• Manage P-Gate product development model, ensuring timely progression through each gate.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year degree in a business or industrial related field.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications.
• Possess strong mechanical and operational aptitudes.
• An outdoor background w/ a general knowledge of boating and fishing.
• Strong inter-personal, communication and project management skills.
• Time management skills to be able to produce assignments efficiently on or before project due dates.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to travel up to 20%.

• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
