What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, components, and products, emphasizing safety.
- Write documentation to clarify and communicate system architecture, solutions, processes, requirements, and schedule for the execution of various projects to ensure delivery on key metrics.
- Manage contracts, negotiate terms, maintain deadlines, draft and review NDAs, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for mechanical design and simulation, streamlining the design process.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to meet design specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best engineering practices.
- Contribute to project planning, technical support, and budgeting.
- Mentor junior engineers, emphasizing best design practices.

- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field (considered part of 15 years of experience).
- 15 years of Mechanical engineering experience, with a preference for mobility products and marine industry experience, which is a great plus.
- Professional engineering license (PE) is a plus.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
- Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi application development.
- Programming in Matlab, Simulink, C/C
- Experience with CAN bus and IoT systems and communication.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, circuit theory, and power distribution with a safety focus.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety compliance across voltage levels.
