One of Brattleboro’s busiest lunch spots is seeking someone to join our team as a baker. No experience is necessary! Attitude is everything, and we’re happy to train the right person.
The role involves prepping, baking, and packaging our pitas for our restaurant and wholesale operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on food safety, cleanliness, and an eye for detail. and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake our from-scratch pitas and other baked goods, baked goods as required.
- Assist in the back kitchen as needed.
- Package finished products efficiently for retail and wholesale purposes while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, baking, and assembling ingredients according to recipes.
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning utensils, equipment, and workspaces regularly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and uphold product quality standards.
