Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pediatric Audiologist at Yale New Haven Hospital, located in New Haven, CT. The Pediatric Audiologist will evaluate and diagnose hearing disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include performing medical diagnostics, conducting aural rehabilitation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans. The candidate will also be involved in counseling patients and their families on hearing health and available interventions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Audiology related to pediatric care
- Experience with Medical Diagnostics and a strong understanding of Medicine as it relates to hearing health
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and medical teams
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent
- Licensure to practice in the state of Connecticut or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working with pediatric populations is required
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting
