Provide Health System support around COVID-19 exposures, testing and work statuses for employees of YNHHS and affiliates.

Responsibilities
- 1. Provides telephone triage for initial work-related injuries of YNHHS employees and employees of external client companies. Utilizing established protocols, provide first aid guidance. Refer to ED, Urgent Care or OMWS clinic as recommended per protocol. If referred to OMWS clinic, schedule visit and notify clinic.
- 1.1 Functions include: Triage of calls; escalate to the OCC Health Call Center Clinician if necessary
- 2. Provides simple return to work clearances for YNHHS employees per established protocols. Consult with clinician as needed. Refer and schedule for OMWS clinic visit as needed. Provide return to work documentation.
- 3. Provides work status recommendations related to communicable disease symptoms and/or exposures per protocol. Notify Infection Prevention of communicable disease exposures.
- 4. Reviews accommodation requests for YNHHS employees. Refer to clinician for escalated review as needed.
- 5. Documents all visits in SYSTOC.
- 6. Provides the following COVID related services: Symptom review, arranging testing if appropriate, provision of results and work status, quarantine guidance, return to work clearance, consults with or refers to clinician as necessary. Documents encounters in Epic.
- 7. Conducts the telephone encounters with empathy and compassion.
- 8. All other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the Employee Resource Center..
- 9. Provides the following COVID related services: Symptom review, arranging testing if appropriate, provision of results and work status, quarantine guidance, return to work clearance, consults with or refers to clinician as necessary.
- 10. Expected to join update calls as needed and review daily updates to best serve the patient population.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Graduate of approved and accredited school program of nursing
EXPERIENCE
Graduate of approved and accredited school program of nursing with 3 to 5 years nursing experience.
LICENSURE
Current state of Connecticut RN License.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
All duties can be performed remotely with IT set-up provided. Virtual training will be provided. Work hours may include early evenings and weekends.
