Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians/providers with patient care, rooming patients, and clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks
- Send/receive patient medical records and abstract new patient records into EPIC
- Set up instruments and equipment according to department protocol
- May assist and/or perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program
- Certification/Registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year private practice medical assistant experience preferred in a primary care or specialist office
- EMR experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required
- Bilingual preferred but not required
