Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this Registered Nurse position, you will need to possess a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or Science, as well as at least one year of work experience in rehabilitative, psychiatric, or geriatric nursing. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Able to consistently work cooperatively with residents, nursing staff, physicians, families, consultant personnel, community agencies, and ancillary service providers.
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain standards of care rendered at Grimes Center accordance with the State of Connecticut Public Health Code, the governing body of the facility, and State and Federal agencies.
- Knowledgeable and competent in performing basic nursing skills, including administration of medications (including IV, enteral) and treatments per the physician's order and facility policy.
