Responsibilities
- 1. Preventative/Corrective maintenance
- 1.1 - Identification of equipment - Proper use of tools and supplies - Complete 100% of all work orders - Respond to calls from hospital
- 2. Boiler Plant Operation
- 2.1 - Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems - Perform safety checks on operating boilers - troubleshoot boiler issues and correct to maintain operations - Ability to operate all boiler support equipment
- 3. Chiller plant operation
- 4. Fire Alarm System
- 5. HVAC
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferred
LICENSURE
' Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. The following licenses will be accepted: RI stationary engineer/boiler operator license, PF Journeyman-1 or 2, PF Master 1 or 2. CT License's- S-1, S-2, S-3, S-4, OE-2.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching and general knowledge of trade skills
