What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
- Register patients and verify demographic, insurance, and workers' compensation information.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other patient payments.
- Support patient flow and front-office operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.
- Help create a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and operational team members to support an exceptional patient experience.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn additional responsibilities that support efficient clinic operations and a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous medical reception, healthcare, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and patient confidentiality.
- Adaptability and a team-first mindset in a fast-paced clinical environment.
