As an Artisan at Yalaha Bakery, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting exceptional baked goods that reflect our commitment to quality and tradition. This role is vital in helping us deliver a variety of artisan breads and pastries to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Led a team of bakers in daily production of handcrafted, small-batch artisan breads, viennoiserie, and pastries using traditional fermentation techniques.
- Developed and maintained consistent, high-quality sourdough starters and naturally leavened doughs.
- Oversaw recipe development, ingredient sourcing, and seasonal menu rotation in alignment with artisan baking standards.
- Trained junior staff in artisanal techniques including lamination, hand-shaping, scoring, and wood-fired baking.
- Ensured quality control, sanitation, and inventory management in a fast-paced, high-volume artisan bakery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
