- Assist the orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures.
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by Washington State regulations.
- Take digital X-rays, photographs, and digital impressions/scans.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
- Deliver an outstanding patient experience by creating a welcoming and positive environment.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure an efficient and productive schedule.
- Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent organizational skills.
- Willingness and reliable transportation to travel between our Yakima and Ellensburg offices.
