Basic Function

The Digital Marketing & Operations Technologist is responsible for executing, optimizing, and measuring Yakima Federal's digital presence. This role bridges creative strategy and technical execution, with a strong focus on lead generation through SEO/SEM, improving customer retention via CRM-driven email marketing, and maintaining a high-performing, compliant website.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES: **

  • Manage and optimize all Paid Search (PPC) campaigns to drive high-intent traffic for lending and deposit products.
  • Execute on-page and technical SEO strategies to maintain top-tier local search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities within primary market areas.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the bank's website, ensuring all content is accurate, current, and compliant with regulations.
  • Build and optimize landing pages for specific marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor website analytics and provide monthly reports, focusing on conversion goals.
  • Manage the marketing CRM, including list segmentation and data integrity.
  • Develop and deploy automated email "journeys" for customer onboarding, cross-selling (e.g., HELOCs to mortgage holders), and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure accurate data integration and flow between systems.
  • Manage the daily execution and scheduling of social media content across all platforms.
  • Monitor community engagement and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Oversee "Google Business Profile" listings for all branch locations to ensure local SEO accuracy.
  • Assure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with ongoing campaigns and special projects.
  • Assist with event coordination, setup, and execution.

Required Education Experience And Skills

  • 3--5 years in digital marketing, preferably within the financial services, insurance, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
  • Familiarity with CRM/Email Automation tools (e.g., 360).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Employees accrue 8 hours of sick leave per month, 40 hours of vacation after 6 months, 80 hours of vacation annually after 1 year of employment (vacation accruals increase depending on years of service), and receive approximately 11 paid holidays per year.

Salary range for a Digital Marketing & Operations Technologist is $60,000 - $80,000. "Other Compensation" includes a Semi-Annual Incentive Program payout and employer funded Defined Pension Plan in addition to an employee's base salary.
