Pay Range: $31.62 – $40.10/hour (Non-Bargaining Pay Plan, C41 Step 1-13)
Hiring Range: $31.62 – $33.56/hour (DOQ)

Are you passionate about data, community impact, and helping programs run smoothly behind the scenes? The Yakima County Human Services Department is looking for a Program Coordinator II to join our team and make a difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness in Yakima County.
This isn’t your average desk job — you’ll be the go-to person for managing data systems, supporting community partners, and coordinating meaningful projects that help people find stability and support.
What You’ll Do:
- Keep things running smoothly by organizing data, coordinating committees, and managing reports.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and state partners to strengthen community support systems.
- Provide technical assistance to local HMIS users and help ensure data accuracy.
- Get involved in important events like the annual Point in Time Count, helping us better understand and respond to community needs.
- Use your skills in Excel, communication, and organization to help drive real impact. (Yes, there’s an Excel exercise during the interview — show off those skills!)
What We’re Looking For:
- A background in social services, human services, psychology, public health, business, or data analytics.
- Experience working with data and reports (bonus points if you’ve used HMIS or Tableau).
- A knack for collaboration, organization, and problem-solving.
- Bilingual or bi-literate in Spanish? That’s a big plus!
