About the Role:
Are you passionate about helping others thrive? As an Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist (ABIS) at YAI, you’ll play a vital dual role—providing hands-on support while also stepping into a leadership position. You’ll work directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their homes, workplaces, and communities, helping them live fuller, more independent lives.
Under the guidance of a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS), you’ll:
- Educate and support team members on Behavior Support Plans
- Assist with clinical assessments and data collection
- Provide real-time coaching and feedback
- Be a key player in creating a positive, inclusive environment

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Human Services (or currently enrolled in a related 4-year program)
- Experience in the I/DD field is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License required
