Summary
We are currently seeking a Sales Representative in the San Francisco Bay Area who will plan and carry out sales efforts at key OEMs through direct and distribution channels in North California and North Nevada.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed sales plans through strategic account management and growth initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key accounts, distribution partners, and targeted new customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to design in KEMET/YAGEO products and secure AVL/BOM approvals.
- Provide product training and support to distributor partners to drive product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Monitor market trends, communicate insights to management, and flag issues impacting sales objectives.
- Support the Pricing Analyst with strategic RFQs and competitive pricing opportunities.
- Maintain high service levels for existing customers while expanding business opportunities within current accounts.
- Coordinate with internal team such as Customer Service, Production, and Sale to align with customer needs, forecasting, and market vulnerabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of growth and interested in building upon their successful track record in sales
- Must be experienced with solutions-based selling and approach to solving customer’s problems
- Achievement driven; enjoys competitiveness and thrives on being the best and winning
- Have a “can do” attitude with a strong positive focus on sales; loves to be challenged
- Has an outgoing, dynamic personality and can build outstanding relationships

The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$140,000, depending on experience.
