In keeping with our organization’s goal of improving the lives of the Residents we serve, the Director of Medical Records maintains the health records of all Residents in the facility and provides administrative support to the nursing department in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Their main duties include helping conduct audits, gathering and filing patient information and processing discharge papers.
The Central Supply Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the Nursing staff has all the necessary medical supplies they need. The Central Supply Clerk receives and verifies medical supplies coming to the facility; records information for reordering, stocks and accounts for medical supplies and billing.

The Central Supply Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the Nursing staff has all the necessary medical supplies they need. The Central Supply Clerk receives and verifies medical supplies coming to the facility; records information for reordering, stocks and accounts for medical supplies and billing.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients
- Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete
- Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
- Filing the paperwork and reports of inpatients quickly and accurately
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
- Transferring data into the facility’s main system database
- Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
- Preparing invoices
- Receives, stores, labels and maintains various medical supplies in storage area
- Assures that orders are correct and bills are submitted for payment
- Stocks nurses stations and resident rooms with supplies. Assures appropriate accounting for all stocked supplies
- Responsible for ordering supplies within budgetary limitations
- Follow established safety precautions when preforming tasks using equipment and supplies
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced organization skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Basic computer skills to scan, organize and access electronic health records
