What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator - Yachts position at Yachting Partners Malta Ltd?
We are looking for a creative Marketing/Social Media Coordinator to join our team in the fast paced yachting industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about boating, digital engagement, content creation, events planning, brand storytelling and building strong online communities - and who is looking to grow their career within the yachting and marketing sector.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Manage daily social media campaigns, maintain all relevant accounts and ensure our audience is kept engaged with content in line with our brand and identity;
- Write creative copy for use in our promotional and branding initiatives;
- Upload new content to the website, create new pages and ensure optimal social media flow;
- Write SEO-optimised captions, hashtags, website copy, blog posts and short-form copy for social media aligned with our branding
- Create email marketing templates, aligned with our brands, manage the respective campaigns and subscribers’ lists;
- Support creative and engaging marketing campaigns for yacht sales, yacht management, charters and events
- Assist in creating high quality content of yachts, including photography, filming and editing
Educational and skill requirements
- Proven experience as a marketing/social media coordinator in a similar role
- Background in yachting, superyachts, luxury travel, hospitality, or marine industry preferred
- At least one year of experience in a similar marketing role.
- Strong understanding of organic social media, paid social media campaigns, SEO optimisation, hashtags, reach, and engagement strategies
- Qualification in Marketing or other industry-related certification; Diploma in digital marketing a big plus
- Excellent English copywriting skills (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong practical knowledge of social media channels, paid social media campaigns and related analytics;
- The ability to work independently and take accountability for projects;
- Highly organised and proactive in creating quality work that stands out
- Team player attitude and pro-active approach to new and exciting marketing strategies
- Self-driven with a hands-on approach and a can-do mentality.
- Proficiency in Canva, Zoho Campaigns, Meta Business , Google ads, SEO and Wix.
