Role Description The Yacht Sales Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end yacht sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting yacht models and custom build options, and guiding clients through contracts and closing. Day-to-day activities include conducting in-person and virtual client meetings, preparing sales proposals, collaborating with designers and project managers on specifications, and coordinating viewings, sea trials, and events. The Yacht Sales Executive will maintain a strong pipeline through networking, industry events, and digital outreach, while providing ongoing client relationship management and after-sales support. The role also involves tracking sales performance, updating CRM systems, and partnering with marketing to align sales initiatives with brand strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury sales, yacht brokerage, or high-end real estate, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge of yacht construction, design, and marine industry trends, or a strong willingness and ability to learn technical product details.
- Strength in client relationship management, including consultative selling, active listening, and delivering high-touch service.
- Comfort with hybrid work, including frequent in-person meetings in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and remote communication via phone, video, and email.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation abilities, and professional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software; familiarity with digital marketing and social media for prospecting is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; marine industry certifications or broker licensing are a plus.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, boat shows, sea trials, and industry events as needed.
