What You'll Do
This position involves both mobile dockside service (company work van provided) and work at our Fort Lauderdale boatyard facility. You'll diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair a wide variety of yacht systems aboard vessels ranging from 20 to 140 feet.
Responsibilities include:
- Gas and diesel engine diagnostics and repairs
- Marine generator service and troubleshooting
- 12V and 24V DC electrical systems
- Marine plumbing systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled service
- Accurate documentation of labor, findings, and completed work
- Preparing repair estimates, sourcing parts, and managing jobs from diagnosis through completion

Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on marine technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- Ability to accurately document work performed and time spent
- Experience estimating repairs and sourcing parts
- Basic hand tools (specialty tools and equipment provided)
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to work safely in both marina and boatyard environments
