Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Help with site preparation including digging trenches, clearing debris, and setting up scaffolding.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Prior experience in the marine industry is a benefit but not a requirement.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
