What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Yacht Harbor Towers Condominium?
400 plus unit condominium in Ala Moana seeking an experienced General Manager.
Candidate must have the following qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Resident or General Manager.
- Must reside onsite.
- Oversee Association’s property and employees and contracted personnel.
- Be a leader, team player.
- Determine maintenance and service specifications (scopes); solicit, analyze and negotiate bids; supervise specification compliance; plan and schedule deferred and/or remedial current maintenance; handle emergency repairs; implement a preventive maintenance program.
- Coordinate maintenance and service priorities with the Property
- Evaluate and recommend any changes to all required insurance carried by the Association, and make recommendations for additional coverage as necessary.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the security of property.
- Maintain an organized record keeping system and an accurate accounting protocol.
- Recommend and implement cost saving measures.
- Assist with budget including preparation of projected maintenance and replacement costs and reserves.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
