Yacht Basin Marina is home to a family owned, friendly boating and vacation destination. Located in Holland, MI. For over 60 years we have been located on the water near Lake Michigan’s towering sand dunes, parks, and recreational areas. We have over 300 slips for boats to 70’. We have 4 large heated storage buildings and lots of room for outside storage. Our 70 ton Travel lift can haul boats to 80’ in length. Yacht Basin offers in/out service and is the only marina in Holland to offer this convenient way of launching a boat.
We offer a full service facility for almost any kind of boat. We have invested heavily in tools, equipment, and especially, training.

Yacht Basin is seeking a motivated and dependable Yard Operator to join our team year-round. If you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and working around boats, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic marine environment.
No marine experience? No problem — we’re willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate marine equipment, including forklifts and travelifts (training provided)
- Assist with boat handling, storage, and yard organization
- Perform bottom painting and detailing during the off-season
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers
- Support general yard operations as needed
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working evenings (up to 8 PM) and weekends during peak season
- Ability to lift, move, and work in a physically active role
Schedule:
- Full-time, year-round
