Yabba’s Wacky Snack Shack is a joyful, experience-driven snack shop in downtown Foley: candy, ice cream, popcorn, fudge, and a full food menu. People come for the snacks and come back for how it feels to be here.
We’re hiring a Shift Lead who wants more than a job. This role has a clear path to Assistant Manager for the right person. You earn it through performance, not time served.
What you’ll do
- Lead shifts: direct the crew, set the pace, and keep the floor running smoothly
- Coach in the moment, with short, clear, respectful correction
- Protect the guest experience and resolve concerns before guests leave
- Own cash handling and drawer accuracy on your shift
- Hold cleanliness standards during the shift, not just at close
- Hit weekly KPIs (sales per labor hour, drawer accuracy, cleanliness, guest experience) to earn your bonus
Who you are
- Reliable. You show up, and when something comes up, you bring a plan, not just a heads-up.
- Comfortable correcting others, and taking correction yourself
- A problem-solver who fixes what’s broken instead of passing it up the chain
- Warm with guests. You don’t need to be loud; you need to be human.
- Interested in growing into management over time
Pay & perks
- $12/hr plus an equal share of the tip pool
- $15 weekly KPI bonus

Schedule
Must be available for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
