As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories primarily for social media content, commercials, and product advertisements. Working mostly solo, you will frequently collaborate with other departments to ensure content aligns with brand and campaign goals. Your expertise will encompass various stages of video production including editing, storyboarding, and audio enhancement to deliver polished, engaging videos on deadline.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive video content optimized for social media and advertising.
- Review and select best takes, ensuring visual and audio quality meet project standards.
- Edit audio tracks to enhance clarity and synchronization with visuals.
- Create storyboards to guide video narrative and structure.
- Manage video files and maintain organized project archives.
- Meet strict deadlines while balancing multiple projects.
- Operate industry-standard video editing software efficiently.
- Optimize content for diverse platforms and audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience in motion graphics, color grading, and audio editing.
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CapCut is a plus.
- No degree required; portfolio-based evaluation.
