Job Description Summary This position is within the Shipping & Receiving Team at the Peebles Test Operation. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities Maintain good communications with support organizations and the team. Eager to learn and cross train. Fork truck and Tow tractor operation authorized. Ability to properly package and perform engine hardware shipment requests. Ability to create shipping Bill of Lading, Manifest, and FedEx AWB. Ability to receive Manifests. Understanding of Domestic and Export shipping requirements Ability to track AWB. Ability to properly load and unload engines. Properly identify hardware and deliver to appropriate location. Ability to process shipping Workflows. Ability to coordinate & schedule shipments. Ability to work in inclement weather. Required Experience: High School diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution. Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of working in related role (warehouse, material handling, shipping / receiving). Previous experience with forklift driving Ability to perform the physical demands of the job by lifting/pulling/pushing up to 50lbs and the ability to climb in/out of fork trucks as required. Desired Characteristics Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment. Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes. Equipment operation, i.e. fork truck operator MES access Detail oriented Hand-on competence and skilled with using shop tools. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
