Job Description Summary The Lead Manufacturing Specialist (MRO Regulatory Compliance Quality Leader) will handle Regulatory Quality review associated with MRO Regulatory Certifications. This person will be the Focal for regulatory agencies by applying for new regulatory certifications to support business needs for the repair station. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for foreign regulatory agencies and customers relating to renewal certifications and customer audits. Complete customer surveys/desktop audits upon request. Maintain the regulatory certification schedules and apply for renewals in a timely manner to ensure certifications. Responsible for keeping MRO Supplements and Manuals current with the latest regulatory requirements. Schedule Regulatory Audits, including travel accommodations, business courtesy approvals and processing payment requests through the RFM System. Schedule Customer Audits Responsible for internal auditors ensuring that they are trained/qualified to carry out assigned internal audits. Complete a yearly risk assessment considering, but not limited to products escapes, pervious internal and external assessment findings and associate corrective actions. Communicating audit schedules to site level assessors and upper-level GE Aerospace Corporate Quality. Documenting audit results, assign and monitor audit findings and corrective actions. Reviewing GE Aerospace applicable procedures ensuring MRO compliance. Serve as focal for document changes. Support the Chief Inspector duties and responsibilities limited by the roster of authority and Chief Inspector delegation. Calibration and Shelf Life Focal (in conjunction with the site ISO Rep) MRO Operational Metrics General admirative activities of the repair station procedures. Provide guidance on regulatory and business quality procedures. Minimum Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality) • Minimum, 3 years of Quality Experience Desired Characteristics & Experiences • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn • Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively • Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed • Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker Strong oral and written communication skills.
