Job Summary

Duties
- Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to different age groups that promote childhood development and learning
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtime, naps, outings, and educational activities to ensure safety and positive behavior management
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws for any incidents or injuries
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care that encourages independence and participation
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations
Experience
- Prior experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education or childhood development principles
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children and children with special needs
- Familiarity with classroom experience or youth programs teaching experience is highly valued
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; experience applying these skills confidently in emergency situations
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
