Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks following established recipes or creating new ones through beverage recipe development.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication; promote responsible drinking.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food and beverage pairing; assist with catering or banquet service when required.
• Assist in bar management duties including scheduling, stock rotation, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage presentation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising quality or safety.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Previous experience in fine dining settings or hospitality environments preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales transactions and inventory management.
