oStrong communication and technical. Eager learner. Experienced in maintenance, operational support, and projects. No contractor / job hopper.

What are the top three technical skills you are looking for?

oDB Eng III PostgreSQL, BDR, PGD, TPAExec, Automation via Ansible, Setup / Upgrade multi cluster node, Project DBA

What projects/ day-to-day work will the candidate be working?

oDB Eng III lead in Postgres platform, Open Source, EDB, 2nd Quadrant. Upgrade PGS to latest. PEM. LDAP/AD integration. Complex system upgrade with Oracle backend. Shift Oracle to Postgres.

Does the candidate need any certifications?

oNo. Postgres certification, a plus.

What would you like to see on a resume?

oEager leaner that can handle existing work but wants to elevate / continuous learning. Deep in their technical knowledge through maintenance/operational support, not via project/contract and move on to next. Strong communication with team focused mentality. Able to service project with both technical, business and soft skillsets
